Africa needs you is a faith based nonprofit advocacy organization Incorporated in the state of Maryland in the year 2006.   

Our vision is a world where people are united in the goal of a better life for others through increased giving towards the spiritual & physical development of others and governments uniting to implementation of a massive comprehensive infrastructure development that spurs positive socio-economic changes in Africa, saving and changing many lives for the better. Jesus Christ in Matthew 22:39 says “…love your neighbor as yourself…” and our vision is predicated on this principle. 

We use praise and prayer as a weapon of warfare for spiritual breakthrough of societal strongholds, we believe communities will change as we develop leaders who operate in Godly principles of love your neighbor as yourself.  Secondly, we partner with individuals, companies, and organization to develop and provide basic core human needs such as supply of drinkable water, and provision of basic facilities to serve as schools, clinic, orphanages, and community centers amongst others. Lastly, we advocate for massive infrastructural development across the African landscape as a means of spurring economic growth and creating positive socio-economic stability in rural areas and consequently in countries across Africa.  

We achieve this using three projects 

Africa Prays: We organize monthly fast and praise prayer meetings as well as an annual praise concert to intensely seek God’s grace and healing over Africa as well as advancements for breakthroughs in development. 

Africa Ask: We fund and provide a platform to raise awareness to the basic needs for communities in rural Africa. We also provide a database where donors worldwide can connect and fund projects in core human need areas such as well water development, buildings for education, healthcare facilities and youth housing & development programs especially in rural areas across Africa. 

Redeemer MAN Plan (MIDA): We encourage the governments especially in developed countries to institute policies that support philanthropy and to work together to support the funding and implementation of a massive infrastructural development program across Africa akin to the massive development plans implemented in places like Western Europe and Asia.

We seek to advocate and encourage governments around the world to implement policies that favor increased philanthropy towards Africa, which will stimulate Private Individuals, Organizations, Corporations in the world TO REAWAKEN to the need for a massive infrastructural development PROGRAM focused on providing the core human development needs in rural areas in Africa with the goal of spurring socio-economic development, reducing poverty across the continent and bolster human  development primarily amongst the children and youth who make up over 50% of the population in Africa.
