Africa Needs U and a team of African Diaspora Doctors is happy to announce the completion of Phase I of a project that successfully raised more than our original goal of $10,000 and provided 6 healthcare facilities on the African continent with 2,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) each. The attached video is not just a thank you from the beneficiaries of PPE, but also a plea for more help as many health workers have not only contracted COVID-19 but several have lost their lives while trying to save the lives of others.
With Phase I successfully completed, we are now launching Phase II of this project with the goal of raising $20,000 and servicing an additional 10 healthcare facilities across Africa.
